we'll see it.....most likely first as a single/constant speed autostarting/stopping charge motor in a hybrid vehicle

BRC (Bombardier Recreational Products-Ski-Doo/Sea-Doo, Can-Am,) bought out Evinrude in order to acquire their patents and rights to the E-Tec system.

Guys I know who drive boats for a living say the E-Tec engines are unbeatable in performance and fuel economy for their weight.

And the sledders i know are all about the direct injected two strokes.....more power than the carbureted engines they replaced....and fuel economy jumpiing from 10mpg to 20mpg or so!

I read somewhere about boyson(unsure of spelling but they used to make good reed valves)have devloped a very clean burning 2 stroke engine, that is very economical etc.
I would love to see a come back by the 2 stroke,i have loved everyone i have ever owned.Reliability is the only issue for me,out of the 6 i have owned,3 have needed major work :( but the power delivery on everyone makes you ride like a nutter :grinnod: .
