engine painting

i want my Yzf motor all black.
theres this paint stuff they sell that says its good up to 500 degrees but Im not sure if that will be good enough.


and are there some different preperation steps for the motor before I paint it?

clean it off with mineral spirits, if your engine gets hotter than 500 degrees your going to have a lot more to worry about then paint

that stuff is great, just prep well and use the hi temp primer too. Be careful with it though. It is very delicate and will flake off until it cures.
