I thought you meant like some M5's and stuff...
I kinda hate BMW bikes..
maybe because of there horrible headlight designs.

"wiser" = "older" and "like to sit up more then lean over and go"

oh, and "spend more on a really nice looking emblem"

haha!

ahhh, at 35 i apparantly am less "wise" because as much as i like their cars, i dislike their bikes an equal amount. oh, and i really like their cars...

but that is just my opinion, cool to see that many of one type of bike in the same place anyhow! wish i could have seen it! :headbang:
I did that.

HA!

My buddy bought a brand new K1200LT (full boat luxotourer) with heated seats and grips, bluetooth communications, GPS, and satellite radio recently. The thing will effortlessly cruise (yes on cruise- control) at 130mph.

It cost him LESS than a H-D softail woulda.

I went with him to the dealer to pick it up and their newer sporters are fricken NIIIICE in person.

I got to ride one of the 650 dual sports for about a week last summer and man was that thing nice, too.

The second one is the new S1000RR. In street form, it has 193 HP, 83 LBS torque and weighs only 450 LBS with fuel and oil. Plus they announced the price will start @ $13,800. Not bad for a BMW.

BMW states that most newer bikes in this category look to similar, hence the unusual headlights. Most of them work for me. But then again, I like different headlights. They do have some that are a little too over the top though.
Yes, that is a Single Sided Swingarm FZR600 that I built.

I likey them :duh: But then I had a R65 LS in the late1980s....

I was in my car on the way to Vegas and there were five guys on the Paris Dakar looking models gassing up in Baker, Calif. Bikes Loaded to the hilt with big duffel bags, hard cases and all sorts of junk bungie/netted down. They were Kiwi's touring The US on thier BMWs. Awsome!
