Light Question

Post by toby42 »

Question: people tend to prefer one headlight style to another? (91-92 vs. others)

ha ha sweet  . but back to the question. talk to tkclow or wynrogo. they just swapped each other for single to daul i think. some people prefer the look but i have heard the light output on the single is less than that of the dual. but i really have no experience with the single

I would say they both have pretty equal popularity. It's just a matter of preference. The single light was around for only those 2 years so the rareness of that increases it's "need" or "want" value. The twin is just more common. This subject is a bit open ended because you'll have so many different opinions and/or comments in regards them... canofworms

single is much nicer....
the dual, if you look at it from the side, looks like it ran into a wall and smashed it flat.
single is more aerodynamic and has a newer look to it

Yes WNYROGO and I just swapped fronts, I had the single headlight as I have a 92 but I just liked the dual headlight better, it is all just a matter of opinion.

OR you can get the single assembly trapezoid light with TWO lamps in it which are 55W each where the single trapezoid is just one 55W lamp .

Derrr... I'm 'special.' Yeah, that's what I meant - the 600 dual vs the single. Thanks for runnin' with it, guys, you guessed well. And as for a prize: those who knew it win a poopsicle.

;o)

So I have a single (and fairing) that I'm gonna get rid of for a dual and fairing stay to go w/ the naked look. Anyone want 'em? I'll post it up in the for sale section soon, just thought I'd throw it out here since we're on that subject...
