1st off, clean the bike really good in those areas that are dirty. Once cleaned up a bit you might be able to see where the oil is coming from.
I use a 20w50 motorcycle oil. Royal Purple. Thats the only oil I use.
Rear turn signals, post some pics but there should be a mounting spot if the bike is stock or he may have cut that off.

cooland res is located behind your handbars, under the tank cover.
its right in front of the airbox.
there is a coolant overflow bottle that is located on the tail of the bike.

there is a cap to go with it, but Iv never had one on mine...it doesnt really do any damage unless maybe you get something in there and it mixes with the coolant, or clogs the tube...Iv never had the problem though..thelastfzr wrote:ok im looking at the overflow does it have a cap or left open

It should have a little cap-'bout the size of a beer cap. If it's missing, you can get one or figure a replacement.thelastfzr wrote:ok im looking at the overflow does it have a cap or left open
As far as the clutch lever hanging up at the bar....It's probably the cable being s****. The clutch cable runs down to the actuator which is inside the front sprocket cover. That spot (inside that cover) is a horrendously nasty place usually. If you have gunk all over teh bottom of your engine you may well find it is from one of three seals under there (shift shaft, countershaft, clutch pushrod).
No matter what, it'll need to get cleaned. And when you get it clean you can cehck the operation of the clutch actuator. And disconnect the cable and see if it slides back and forth smoothly.
I don't know if you can tell but I am in agreement with 95FZR600 in thinking you need to get some degreaser and pull the lowers off and go to town on this bike.
