Does anyone have a scrap frame? I need that little horse shoe bracket that the radiator filler cap bolts too. I know it is part of the frame, it can be broken off easy enough. otherwise I will have to have one made at a machine shop. thanks

Do you have a stock picture of what you are talking about? AFAIK that bracket is welded to the frame. Just buy a piece of aluminum L bracket and cut, drill, tap, done.

Coincidentally I was going to cut mine off as I have a YZF radiator with the cap on the radiator itself. I could cut the bracket off for you but it's not going to be right away.

Yeah even some 16g sheet metal will bend well enough in a vice or clamped on a workbench edge. It doesn't need to be pretty, it just needs to hold.
