Ignition Coils

Coils are all that's keepin my bike from coming to life I believe. Anybody got set they don't need for cheap?

There is a swap I have read about using Ford escort coils..... or something like that. Not sure of specific's.

Yes - it will plug into the stock harness at the two coil connectors, and then into the four COPs. The harness will come out between the #3 and 4 cylinders, then disperse from there.

Newer coils, don't need to worry about cracking plug cap resistors and rotting, corroding wires, frees up room under the airbox for other strange ideas.

Plus it's just COOL, man ... :thumbsup:

91 and later as long as its fuel injected 1.9L or 2.0L. The 1.8L in the gts was a Mazda motor with a single coil and cap rotor setup. Its also the same coil used on the Mustang and other V8 Fords with the dual 4 pack coil packs. Msd and Accel make aftermarket versions for it as well. I may not have many bike answers yet but I've been building Fords for almost 25 years. :D
