FZR600 USED Friction Plates

Post by dash »

I am looking for a set of used friction plates that still have a bit of life in them. For the guys that replace them as a set, I am in need of approximately 0.020" (0.5mm) for my clutch to engage. UNfortunately, my budget can't stand much this time of year. I need measurements of the plates before i can trade. thanks.

I have a few sets but shipping may kill it.

Check measurements, i got 4 out of spec (<0.110") and the remaining 4 are just within spec (~0.110" to 0.115") If I can get 0.040" to 0.050" to the good, my transmission problem may be solved? Price?

Well, part of the problem may be that you should have 9 friction discs. 8 steel discs. But I have a set with 8 discs that are all .120. The 9th is a different disc for some reason and .114. Where are they getting shipped to?
