stock fzr1000 exhaust
i have 90 fzr1000 with full vance and hines exhaust, i want to put exup back on it and dont have anything, need stock header pipe, exup servo and cables and stock muffler or slip on for stock header. thanks
Re: stock fzr1000 exhaust
I'm not sure where you are but from your request for a muffler I guess you're in the US
I have a spare servo but it's for the later RU model which has a different plug that fits the CDI. You can swap the plugs if you find a broken servo
Wemoto (Google search) supply cables cheaper than gen OEM
I also sell complete refurbished headers when I have them but shipping from the UK probably wouldn't make them viable
Here's the last set I did and sold

Re: stock fzr1000 exhaust
yeah iam in the states, that is a very nice looking header. I imagine shipping would be crazy. I always thought the servos where the same but different plug good to know , at very least fab my own plug setup.
Re: stock fzr1000 exhaust
The 89-90 servo on the FZR1000 used the 6-way round Yazaki YPC female connector, while the 91-94 used the rounded-rectangular Sumitomo connector. The Cali 600s and 400s also used the round connectors. Later bikes like the YZF750 & 1000 used the Sumitomo or a 4-way unsealed connector and a bullet connector. The servos themselves are all the same, it's just the plug and length of cable that changes.
The round connector is older and harder to find; Eastern Beaver in Japan has them, but has a $20 minimum order. Cycle Terminal in the US carries the 3, 4, and -male- 6-way, but not the female. I have a few on my bench that I use for my EXUP Eliminators; if you can't find a servo with the right connector and aren't ready to buy an extra few connectors from Japan, I'll sell you one for cost and postage.
