Thatkid,
Have you seen how that powder coating will hold up to road condtions on a street fighter?

I've seen how hi-temp holds up. I haven't seen specifically this one but they all hold up very well. The operating range is up to 1000° and the fzr headers never get close to that, so you're never stressing the range. It can take some of what the road has to offer. However, it is inches off the ground. Just like anything else, a good enough impact and it can chip.

Anyone tried this on a bike with an r1 body kit? Its shaped differently than stock fairings, not sure if it would fit

Are you talking the airtech kit or actual R1 plastics? I can find out if it'll fit if it's the airtech.

Yeah, airtech kit. Thinking of combining header with stage 3 kit, pods and ignition advance kit, maybe pick up 5 little ponies?

Do you know if this header will clear the lower fairings in a FZR400 with a 600 swap? If you don't know, how do they compare to the stock 600 header? The stock 600 stick out forward too much near the oil filter where they bend to clear the fairing. If they are about 3/4 to 1 inch back or hug the motor closer, I think it will work.

The r6 sticks out more than the fzr header. Great for oil changes, not great for fairings.
