These wheels have Argento Silver with a Gloss Clear applied. They are durable. They just need bearings. I may even have them lying about in one of my cases. They are a fresh coat and have never been mounted. The front wheel is from an early YZF600R but it's all the same specs as the FZR. $225 shipped. I can add an almost new Pirelli Diablo supersport for the front wheel for an additional cost.

why cant you use the old bearings instead of new bearing after wheels been powder coated, just curious.

9 times out of 10 you will destroy the old wheel bearings on removal- there is no way to get a puchase on the bearing outer- using the inner stresses the integrity of the bearing.
They can be removed using heat/blind bearing puller but as they cost pennies it is wise to replace them as a routine maintenance item regardless.
Powder coaters do not appreciate bearings in parts to be coated.
Firstly they need to be masked at the blasting stage and secondly ,even if degreased, they spew oils when in the curing oven and contaminate the finished coating.

Yeah, new bearings are a must. Even if you pull them out gently it's not worth it to reuse when new bearings are ~$50 for a full set. If you're going to make the wheels look brand new, you might as well make everything new.

And yes, no coater is going to put a bearing in his blasting cabinet and contaminate all the very expensive media. And most will charge you $50+ an hour to remove it if you didn't.

ok thanks. If you still have them once I complete my bodywork, paint, etc. I will most def buy them. Like you said I would probably save money doing so.
