FYI!!!! I bought 2 of these back a few years ago... one to put on my bike, and another to keep as a spare... this is the spare!
Never installed/ never took out of bubble wrap
Vance & Hines Stator cover
Looks just like this one in the picture... but not painted.
If you require a picture of it... just ask.
$100.00 + Shipping/box/insurance (insurance would be very highly suggested due to being so rare.)
Your choice of shipper, but USPS has flat rate shipping, and probably would work.
These are no longer made.... and I could ask a premium penny being that it is not used.
Here is a excellent condition used one for $145 plus shipping on ebay.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/FZR600-FZR-600- ... 98&vxp=mtr
This is the exact same, only never installed!
You can not find even the stock/NRC covers at NRC anymore... They sold for $120 plus shipping when I bought this... stock ones... not Vance & Hines.
So it is a great deal.

Edit... well for some reason when I checked as I wrote this ad up... I must have entered something in wrong... They still do sell the NCR covers for the 600.

No issues. It is only a thicker stator cover.gre3nskeeper wrote:I have a SS2R exhaust. Is this compatible?
Also, these are not "billet", they are cast. They explain why they chose that over billet.
"NRC covers are stronger!
Manufactured under stringent ISO 9002 quality control standards, cast alloy grain flow follows each cover's particular contour, further aiding to its strength through shape and increased section thickness. "Wrought" (billet) alloy have a linear grain only, and its mechanical properties become unstable in thicker stock, resulting in reduced strength and less resistance to stress cracking.
NRC covers are lighter than billet!
Because each NRC cover is uniquely designed and cast into complex three dimensional shapes, billet covers often weigh more due to their boxier, straight wall finish that is typical of 3 axis CNC machining.
NRC covers cost less!
Cast covers are absolutely the least expensive way to mass produce, and yield the least amount of scrap after finish machining. Billet cover machining requires considerably more time than cast, and the majority of the billet stock goes to scrap. When you consider it takes 8"x8"x3" piece of billet stock, weighing close to 19lbs., to make a typical late model sport bike alternator cover weighing 2 lbs., 17 lbs. of billet material, and the time it took to machine it away, goes to scrap!"

Thanks Rage for the excellent information addition...
As you can tell, I have forgot somethings...
... duh, it is cast!
.
No issues.. it is just a thicker stator cover with the words Vance & Hines on it. Kinda a collectible.
gre3nskeeper, as long it is a FZR 600... it will fit.
