Havent done much to bike between rounds. Its using 200ml of oil per race day so just want to nurse it through.
I have got new light tint screen fitted.
I also worked out my cam has low volume setting for on the bike so sound should be better next round.
Round 5 is 26/27th so two weeks away.
It is also doubling up as the first of the Northern Post classic series so many riders from north will travel to this one.
With max grid size 35 there will be some that dont qualify.
Home track advantage will help no end and Manfield standard track is my favourate and favours bigger bike at last.
Last time out got within half second of classic lap record on old suspension and reduced hp so want to take that record weather permitting.
For those who havent seen it this is standard Manfeild track qualify from round 3.First half was scrub in so last laps are quicker.
qualified with 1.18 but race pace 1.15.7 record 1.15.2

18hrs to go.So many entries they have split senior and junior into two races. Its a combined event with NZ classic championship so all the top NZ post classic bikes are entered. Our race is going out with pro twins which are mostly sv650 race bikes so should be fun as they have similar lap times to mine.

I really don't need to wish you luck because I know you'll win. I just want to hear my headers screaming down the front straight.

Good stuff, Mossy!!!
Nice drives outa the corners and a good job all around!
I've put my GoPro on the 'lo' sound setting and I still get a bit of the 'peak' noise , so have tried a couple vids with a piece of scotchtape over the microphone holes-it's better.

Thanks guys.
Martin Peck an ex UK bike drag champ will start the rebuild after the last round. He talking rear wheel figures over 170hp.
That will help with battling big bore gsxrs.I had alot of trouble with the NZ postie champ as he gaped me by 30metres every straight.
Passed him several times under brakes and through corners just to get repassed on the straights.
Bet my personal best 4 times at the meeting and only .3 seconds off the lap record for postclassic.
