First race of the seasn results - CRASH!

Post by China_Racer_1 »

I need to make this a bit short as it hurts to type.

Last lap out of 10

4 turns out of 14 to go to the finish.

diceing with my enemy (Actually a good friend)

Came in to a 100 km/h corner WAAAAY to hot and heavy on the brakes
Made a decision. Hold the brakes and dumper her or let go, hook up and high side. I took the lesser of two evils and dumped it.

Smashed my elbow pretty hard. Before I dumped I saw smoke coming from the front tire I was pushing her in that hard, kind of dirt track style a bit Gary Macoy-ish

back home now but hurting pretty bad in the shoulder and arm.

I got TONS of great pics on the way as I had a pro photographer there taking publicity shots for my sponsor. Lots of hot umbrella girls as well.

Got some good on board camera video as well.

I got up to 265 KM/h on the front straight (About 163mph) and went through corners dragging knees at 165 km/h (About 100mph) dragged my toe in one of the fast corners and reached my max lean angle on the bike as it began to slide a bit at that point. loads of fun

Corner I crashed in is notorious for smacking riders mostly high siding them. Guess I can be happy I beat the track and low sided instead ha ha.

Titanium on the shoudler worked but I crushed it I hit so hard. If not for that I htink I would have broken the shoulder bone. Same for the titaniumon the boots saved the ankle bone really well.

Time for my meds.

Rock on! You said you were going to push it - now you know the limit!

Hope you heal, so you can get back to the track. I'm dying for a Track Day over here.

As it turns out I had a guy stop buy the house last night that is trying to organize racign at the Shanghai F1 rack where they had the Moto GP for a few years. Its a very fast track reaching speedds of 300 KM/h (Thats about 187mph)

So since I am a bit well known here he just partcially sponsored me a ride there for the first time everyone gets together with a car club. we wil share the track with them adn alternate sessions of 25 minutes each.

But this happens on this coming Sunday. So of course I said YES! I want to be able to say I went 300 KM/h that woudl be a good goal to bust through. :-) Not a race but just an organized event for now. They are trying to ge racing there. Problem is the track is owned by the government so there is a bit of a lack of enthusiasm on their part. Efen suits don't know what real fun is I guess. ha ha

Thats pretty cool that you will get to run that track and to go that fast. Have fun and be careful!
