Race jetting, and a few other ?'s

I'm building a race bike and was wondering which jet kit i should run, a stage 3, or a dynojet stage 7? i also asked this on the old forum, but is it really worth it to switch to a 17" rear wheel? and has anyone used r6 fairings on the fzr to take advantage of the belly pan? is it worth it to run total loss?

If this is a dedicated race bike, then I would run a Stage 3 with PODs and a Flo-Commander.
I would consider going with the 17" and having multiple options for tires. The only race tire for the 18" that I'm aware of is the BT-090 by Bridgestone. From what I know, you'll need to buy tire warmers with that tire.

i'll be using tire warmers regardless. I know they make the bt 090, but i also thought i saw that bridgestone made some slicks that would fit.
i'll probably just buy the parts just incase i can't find tires in the future.
i already have pods and a full yoshi exhaust. i just haven't assembled the bike yet. i have parts all over the place

i'll start throwing pictures of my budget build racer, though it probably won't turn out the budget part,
mainly because i'm bored and wanted opinions so far nothings assembled, hopefully by the end of the week i'll have a roller, with engine

You're right, anything with "racing" never turns out to be budget.

Take turns?
I run a stage 3 Factory pro and I'm using the largest jet they gave me. Only mods are Full V&H ss exhaust and K&N pods.
