There is only 1 that I'm aware of and that's by Factory Pro. You pull the flywheel, put the new one in and reinstall the flywheel...

If i remember correctly, you remove the flywheel and replace the key on the crank with the new key. Pretty sure you gotta have the offset to the left(when slot is on top of crank). Then just reinstall the flywheel. With an impact wrench should be no problem.

What if I don't have access to an impact wrench and has anyone noticed any considerable differnce then from stock ?

Dont have one on my FZR, Have used ignition advancers some flywheel, some electrically controlled, 5 degree ignition advance and IMO you will notice the difference, I have 3 degree advance on a 04 Kawi Prairie 700 4x4 and makes a huge difference, If i had one sittin around for FZR i would install, But i most likely wouldnt go out and buy one.Havent in the 5 yrs i have had FZR... Try it let us know...

Well if not an impact wrench then you can hold the rear brake and use a breaker bar(i use my car jack handle slipped over a 1/2" socket wrench).

Not sure why I haven't done it yet ..So you get it done and convince me to do it :bunny

wish you could do a dyno run to see where any changes are.

I had an ignition advancer on my Sv650, years ago, and it didn't do squat.

I am curious about the effects of one on the FZR. It's a cheap enough and easy mod.

wish i had a dyno and it is cheap i guess cost me $60 in all and thats having somone install it.. i dont think it gives you more power but my bike was idling kind of sluggish b4 now it seems as if somone smacked it and woke it up ..lolol

Great that you had such fantastic results. Besides the idle, where would you say the most improvement was? lowend, mid or high?
