Ok I am back here is how it all went;
It rained and the team I am renting the r-6 form scrambled to get tires changed to rain tire. But I got second fiddle and by the time I got out on the track I was just getting the tires warmed up and getting ready to go for it and the checker flag dropped so only 5 laps which really is not much practice in the rain before qualifying.
The in the after noon it rained a bit hard. Not too much just enough to screw up your vision.
I got off to a good start then had a normally faster rider blocking the heck out of me. I finally pushed past him when he hit the pits with a low rear tire. So after that I got in my fastest lap.
The rest of qualifying was marred by idiot riders who would rush a corner and hit the brakes hard and put through which blocked me as they were often two by two.
Still I got placed 7th in my class and 10th on the grid out of 30 bikes.
After I looked at the time sheets and I know I am faster than all the other guys except three and one of them is nicknamed crash. So hoping he lives up to his name.
What I really need is a good night’s sleep. The weather calls for a partly sunny day which is fine with me. I am hoping for a third but will settle for top five.
Lots of crashes in the rain of course so that was entertaining being behind riders and having them freak and grab the brakes…which as you might know stands the bike up and makes you run to the outside of the track even more. Doh!
Ok well not really happy with my performance but looking forward to redeeming myself on a dry track tomorrow.
See you in 24 hours with the results

I am a bit pissed of right now though. Its 3:00AM, I can’t sleep and I realized that one of the teams who also have a team in the Chinese Super bike Series (CSBK) will have two of their professional riders get in on a late entry.
That means no podium for me.
So if I can pull off 1:15 or even below I will be happy with myself. That’s a lot of time to drop on a 1.2 miles track with 14 turns in it. I am actually racing better now than when I was 28 years old ha ha
Ok Rant over. I think I will try to boot the pros off the track. One advantage is they have rules in the CSBK….. we don’t he he he
If you come in the first 5 It will be podium place
the pro's are there for a living so the pressure is on them not you.
If you are nervous of the rest of all sorts racing how will they feel 20 bloody mobile chicanes as far as they see it they will slow down.
You on the other hand are out for a fun win your life does not hang on just this race, just do the very best you can if you come in 3rd you win if you come in 5th to are podium amterial.
If and I say if you do not get quite there go walk the track at the end of the day and see if you find where your markers are off for breking and wringing the bike neck.
Note them in a book and when you are out to work on the track burn them in your mind
Best of luck we are all rooting for you

Re: Qualifying tomorrow
Thanks Guys,
its not raining today its 6:00 am right now and the weather calls for clearer skys. Just had a baad day yesterday but to day it "game on" I'll relax a bit more and make ya guys proud. Back in 10 hours with the result. A dry track - I can do a lot better I am sure.
