Yup, that's what I've been getting at.

I still think I have a better/smoother/stronger bottom and mid range with the stock setup (compared to pods). Well, slightly modified stock setup.

Dyno runs hopefully at the end of next week.

I think the pod setup had it's application in a track setting. A big course, for that matter. Like Pocono's Formula USA.

Doesn't sound like anyone here goes to the track. So, what's the point? Louder is not faster.

For the street, I really think it blows. Well, like I said , dynos hopefully next week.

Possible boot fix>>

I flipped my boots upside down, and they stay on good, don't even used clamps. The bottom of my boots were always hard and wouldn't go on or stay on. The other end of them were nice and soft and flexible. I pulled them out, flipped them around, and put them in through the top of the air box(remove the filter of course). When attaching to the carbs, I leave the filter out, put my hand in the box and grab each boot and put it on each carb, pushing and turning. They slid over nice and tight.
