Shaghai International Circuit - Exhaust sound bites

Post by China_Racer_1 »

We did a few shots for sound for an exhaust company that is making a really nice low budget wide open GP style can for racers.

These are a carbon fiber body with Stainless steel. Nice work nothing special but not crap either. They only have a 1/2" ring of packing material around the inner pipe. other than that they are straight through. Good sounding I think.
This pipe is on a CBR1000RR on the sound bites.

I should have mine about end of the week so I can get some pics for you maybe a sound bite off my bike as well.

There are a few sound bites and pics here

Bikes are doing between 140 - 150 MPH into turn one - typically fly in, jam down two gears let the turn and hill scrub your speed. No brakes. Puckers your asshole right up, it does! why? because at the top of the hill is a tight decreasing radius needing to be taken in 2nd or 3rd gear depending how your bikes geared and how big yruo balls are.

Then it goes down hill to another a bit of off camber the on camber then another left its a very technical corner and I am sure I am not describing it right. So somewhere in your travels on full lean yo need to drop her two gears after the initial pitch in. Rattles bike and makes ya suck it up ha ha. The decreasing radius on the top tight turn always ges me puckered the track seems to go from wide to 6" thin a that point if you don't get it right. Eeeeek

Sadowski said it was one of the most technical tracks he has ever been on.

Feed back on the cans sound appreciated.
