TRACK DAY - Gateway in St. Louis!

Post by ragedigital »

If you live around St. Louis, then here's your chance to get in some good solid riding without the gravel, minivans or police (no offense to FB or Deputy)... lol

Track Days are not all balls out racing. It's taking your skills to the next level at your own pace. You will learn new riding techniques in a very safe environment. If you've never been, St. Louis has one of the most organized, cleanest, safest Track Days that I know of. The track is relatively flat, so you can see all around without any surprises.

Next MCRA Track Day at Gateway is May 17th.

Man u guys are lucky the only track here in Michigan is like 3 hours away in a city called Grotten if im not mistakin .. Im really dying to do a track day just not ready to start dumping $$$$$ on full leathers , protective and saftey stuff + cost of time to go on a track even though in the long run i think it would be the best money i ever spent thats motorcycle related ..But when u work in a family owned bussiness that is open 7 days a week ,, hard to plan a trip to get away ..

I want to run Grattan someday. I was there many moons ago, before I was interested in sportbikes - early 90's. My wife's friend has a boyfriend who road bikes and we went and camped up there over the weekend. It was really awesome!

My first race is 5hrs drive away.
Only been there once.
This is Taupo international circuit that they run A1 gp on.

The closer track is Manfield which is 2 and Half hrs away.
Wish they would build track in Wellington City(home) which is the countries capital.

Looks like a fast track you got there

I'm looking at Gateway, Putnam, Blackhawk, and Autobahn for when I can actually do one. My brother lives 4 miles from BHF, and I have a few friends near autobahn, so I can couch it fo free :D

We have Laconia up here in NH!!!! Tom, Jim, myself and Dave have been talking about getting together for a track day... unfortunately that requires getting either a suit or pants to zip into my jacket, race boots and Gauntlets to the tune of spending about a grand... sooooo wanna do it this year tho!!!!
