Tyres are Pirelli superbike 180/55 and 120/70 soft front and medium rear.
Found they work best with 28pound front and 26pound rear.
Get four sets per year from sponcer so cheep racing this year.

Is that photo blurry so we can't tell that the guy behind you was riding a stripped down Ninja 250?

Black under tail is gone and white better plastic is on and mounted neatly.
Duane AKA Sweeks is sending me his yoshi header pipes(YOU THE MAN SWEEKS).
He has spent time finding me a good freight deal.. :udaman :udaman :udaman :udaman :udaman :udaman

7more sleeps to race one and im down to researching the new competitors of which there is three this year.
Two are unknowns and google searching shows no race history so both might be rookies. Both entering gsxr1100s
There is a gpz900 entered from up North but his race history is average not outstanding.
My arch rival is not showing as registered but they are slow to put the enteries up in full.

Im at the checking weather forcast stage and no doubt will get the short sleeps soon.
My sleeping reduces from 8hrs to 6 odd for the last few days as I rehearse every corner in my mind before sleeping.

This may sound lame to some of you guys but i think a few racers will be like this also.
The night before is a strugle to sleep. The only cure is service wife (twice)then scull half bottle wine.Seems to work.

Its a five hour drive to Taupo from my house so I take Friday off work and drive up day before.
Scrutineering is 8am so its not good idea to try drive at 2.30am.LOL

The other track is Two and half hour drive so we leave at 5.30am for that track.
Now that i have van i can load the day before rather than load trailer and bike in the dark at 5am so that will help.

Watch this spot for race results.
Cheers Steve
