I have to be completely honest about the "chicken strips". I did have some left on the front, but I'm working on it:

Darrin, I'm insainly gealous right now. Even the wife thought it was cool. Maybe next year I can get in some track days. Have to buy some full leathers first. I really want to do the Kevin Schwantz school, but it is really expensive. And if you don't own a GSXR you can tack on another 400-600 for the rental plus any damages if you do wreck the thing.

Haunter - padded compression shorts - you must have been a goally. They were the only ones to wear those in my playing days. God I miss soccer. In my area, my spanish isn't good enough to make the team let alone how out of shape I am from not playing for 13 years.
Yes, that is a Single Sided Swingarm FZR600 that I built.

Something is lurking, waiting, wanting to be built......It calls to me from the darkness....

I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel....Then I realize that it is the train coming to run my ass over....

Rob brings up a good point. GET THE GEAR! That's one thing you can take off your mind while you're on the track. Granted, crashing would suck, but not having to worry about it might set your mind free to concentrate on riding.

I highly recommend a class at the track. A lot of them offer them. Don't get out there and try to hang with the fastest people, you'll just end up where some of them do.... on their ass.

I chopped the video off just before a guy on a CBR came flying by me into turn 1. Later on, he was picking his bike up in turn 7... :duh:

I see how it works, kill the video as soon as you get passed by a CBR... :dubious:

It was just to save the guy from embarrasment when he lost it in turn 7... ha!

Actually, he was very fast in the straight and in the corners. Must have a well tuned bike. Not sure of the cc's. He obviously was a seasoned guy who knew the track or knew his bike really well cause he took off.

However; like all Hondas, they have to be pushed out of the way:

Nice. You got me there.

I sent that guy a PM asking what he had on the bike that was different from stock, cause I was letting my bike scream and he blew past me on the straight. I could be that he was just on the throttle longer into turn 1.

Turn 1 at this track is very misleading, since it's "blind". It hides behind a worker station or something. You think you'll run out of track before turn 2, but you have plenty of track to get ready.

It was really an experience to remember. I highly recommend anyone to do it. You want to do whatever you can to get back there a little more prepared than last time.
