HELLO iam new 92FZR 1000

hi all iust recently purchased a 92 fzr 1000 ,,, its a roller not a runner so i was wondering what all years motor wil fit and i seen a 90 with a 2006 yzf motor wondering if it is a easy bolt in or alot of fab work to make it fit ? also the motor in it missing ignition, some wiring gauges, plastic so info where to find plastics would be great ,,, and does anyone now how i can get starter to turn over if no ignition ,or wanting to run half the wiring in it ,,, seams tons of wire that go no where for carburated motor ,,,, dont plant on running anytime soon so dont need turn and head lights,, any info on a free wiring diagram would be great , ,, names james ,,thank you all who replay , il post pic ,i planning on getting frame eaither polished or shot peen makes good havig nighbor who does anodizin and powder coating , ,,, it was a 250$ with clean title so couldnt pass deal with new tire brakes and kyb shocks ,

Any engine can be made to fit if you like fabricating brackets etc. The R1 engine would be no different. It would be an interesting conversion.

For ease stick to engines from 1991 - 1995 as these are the same. Before this the oil cooler is different after the head engine mounts are different.

To turn the starter you would just need to giv e it diret power from the battery. To start normally connect the loom up, you can leave all the lights disconnected and the coils but the handlebar switch would need connecting I think.

Plastics, keep an eye out on eBay, plenty are breaking here in england, perhaps its the same over there too?
