solo seat cover question

may be a dumb one but hey, i'll ask anyway ... i have a 88fzr1000 will a 91 solo seat cover (rear seat cowl) fit my bike?

the pre exup genesis is different to the 89-90 R model thats then different to the 91-95 RU model. None of them are interchangable as standard
