fzr 1000 exup 1990 no spark
just bought an exup 1000 1990 with butchered loom and after hours of struggling to put it back together ,i dont have a spark it turns over but i dont hear the exup valve at turn of key just the pump,any body have any ideas as i am new to the fzr wiring diagram??coils are live and the clutch safety switch ok cant find sidestand switch cable!

exup is'nt ypvs ! you have no sound to hear from your valve .....only fuel pump and only for 10 second, after key switching .

The EXUP uses the same style of servo as the YPVS, and goes through the same clean / calibrate cycle at startup. You SHOULD hear the servo when you turn on the key and kill switch.
Try grounding the top-middle pin on the 6-pin connector on the TCI. That's your safety input. and will prevent spark if it isn't happy.
