well since you have not told us where you are by putting your location in your personal profile the group have no idea what other bikes your country gets
OR
tell you who to send the rim to for straightening
OR
you could read the WIKI section on part swapping between models of Yamaha

Re: what rims will fit!??
Hi there yamaha_george...I kind of had that same question...I have a set of 17's from a honda that I want to fit on my 88 1k...they're the "enkei" five spoke wheels that came on the repsol replica, if I'm correct, and are fitted on a 93 f3 cbr...what would have to be made to fit these new wheels on my 1k? Thanks for your help...

Hi,
Unless some one n here or on STIG's 1K specific site you will have to work it through yourself.
What I can tell you is that having spent most of my life in places that are 3-4 MONTHS away from regular spare parts for the bike i was riding you soon get exploring possibilities like yamaha rear wheels in a Bultaco Honda brakes on a Kawasaki etc.
Take a look thro my saltmine site and you can see what can be done under a"shade" tree if you put the grey stuff to work and you are desperate to ride.
If you do go with afive spoke you may want to look to match the front wheel too as some how the "look" clashes.
