looking into buying a 92 fzr 1000

my buddys friend is selling a 92 fzr 1000 with a blown motor, i was just wondering is their somthing i should look out for? are motors for this bike hard to find cause i dont want to buy it and be stuck with a blown motor.

I got hold of a replacement easily here in England.

Since I bought mine 1991 a few months back it has needed, exup valve repairing, fork refurb, head steering bearings need changing, coils, has a suspect swingarm bearing/bush gone and general tlc. Same as all old vehicles, unless you are lucky enough to buy it from a like minded person expect to do a few repairs.
