ZX10 Shock

Post by FZRJoe »

I Know I haven't had it 5 mins but you know how it is.

I have a mint 2009 rear shock absorber sitting in my shed (like you do) I hear that they fit the EXUP as they are the correct length, my question is are they a straight swap or is there any work involved (spacers etc)

Next is an easier one. FZR came with a really tacky carbon yoke cover, I've removed the cover but now have two holes in the top yoke (access to Allen head bolts) what caps? went in these holes and wheres the best place to go for them (if there's an alternative to Yamaha)

Anybody have a bolt size(length/thread) list for the fairing fasteners, I know there's kits available but at very inflated price. Fuel cap bolt length etc would be useful too (sorry for appearing lazy but hey if someones already done the work, why not)

I think you may need some spacers and different size bushings. Seen the mod over on exupworldwide and as far as I know its a pretty straight up swap
