Ticking sound at idle
I have a 90 fzr 1000 exup and there's a ticking when the bike idles but goes away around 3000 rpm. My bike has 43,000 miles and needs a valve adjustment or just a check in the clearenses, but I heard if it is the valves the noise would increase as the rpms get higher, and also the sound doesn't go away when the bike is hot. It doesn't effect performance and the bike runs flawlessly! HELP
Re: Ticking sound at idle
It may be time to service your EXUP bushings - 3000rpm is when the servo starts to pull on the cables, tightening up the assembly.
