Side stand switch question

Hello.

So here's my problem.. I was idling my bike and side stand switch was hanging loose from the wires. Apparently hot exhaust pipe cut its wires so I don't have the switch anymore (later lost the switch itself too) So now the bike stalls when put on gear, maybe because of this? would it work if I grounded what's left of the wires or how does that side stand switch work?

Sorry for bad english :grinnod:

Yes, to bypass the sidestand switch just attach the single wire to ground.

I thought to bypass the sidestand you just take the two wires and connect them together creating the circuit.

I'm probably wrong though, I need to brush up on my electronics

Yeah, you were right. There are two wires. Just connect them. One is ground. I goofed.
