Hi everyone
i am going to buy my first road bike very soon and i have decided on a fzr 1000 but the fzr 600 front fairing has a few more air flow holes in then and i really like that look.
the fzr 1000 dont and i would like to change the fairing so does anyone know if they will bolt straight on or do i need to modify or no chance.
cheers
jordo

Yeah....No. Not bolt on at all. The 1000 is wider than the 600.

Excatly as Duane said... Not gonna happen. Whats wrong with the 92 1k look
In my opinion its the most sleek of them but thats me...the fact that mines a 92 is another reason for me to boot. However you COULD make a 1000 fairing work with a 600 but there would DEFF be fabricating.
Trust Yamaha, the air ducts are there for a reason and the "few more" passages you would like aren't going to increase air volume to much.. The Best way to let the bike breathe is to lift the front of the tank by about 10mm
