Fzr 1000 Genesis 1987, Tuning Help

Hello, i'm a new fzr owner's from italy, i would want an example of what i can change to get more power form my bike. Exhaust manifold (4-1) , Dynojet kit,Ait filter? Or swap engine?

Please tell me what i can doing!

Are you joking??? The 1000 lump pumps out a LOT of power. And torque. The later exup model has a litle more power and very good torque from low down. If the engine on your bike is not feeling good then mabye it is worn down? Or mabye it is just in need of a tune up? IMO the 1000 don't need any tuning-work.

My suggestion would be to start with a jetkit (either Factory Pro or Dynojet. Doesn't matter since they do the same thing). A proper tune and you should see better results.

oh no, the engine are good! but i'll want to buy a Wiseco kit 1070, it is possible on 1987 genesis?

The fuel consumption are approximately 10l/100km....without exceed with throttle....

Good economic way to get a bit more ommph,change the front sprocket for one with a 1toth less then stock. ( from 17 to 16 )

I cant keep the damn front wheel down riding in first and coming into second hard. I cant imagine with a SMALLER sprocket.

hmmm perhaps I need to tune mine up then.... I can power wheelie My 1K no problem but second gear it just wants to pull like a rocket ship =) Im gonna check to make sure I have a stock 47 in the rear. Maybe the guy before me changed it....

hello! i need a new exhaust, what type it's compatible with fzr 1000 (1987)? In my country it's hard to find a specific exhaust. Tanks.

sorry...i have a question. Can i put a FZR 1000(89-90) Fuel Tank on a FZR (1987) ?
