Shim swap program still available?

So gents,

I decided to check valve clearances during the winter season. Turns out all 12 intake valves are "riding the lobe"(no clearance). The exhaust valves were in a little better shape. Anyhow, I call the local Yamaha dealer to get a price quote on 16 shims. $147.68 or $9.23 EACH!!!

I have read about the shim swap program and was wondering if this was a possible way for me to go. Has anyone ever traded or bought shims from the "shim swap program"? Is the program still open?

Thanks for your help, guys

So after some more searching I found a place that sold a shim kit which has all but a few shims that I need (hotcams 30 pack-shims 150-175) for $35.00. It's a smaller motorcycle shop in town- KIng's Cycle. He offered to trade shims with me for the others that I need.
