ok i just wanted to know if it was just me every year it seems like i have to bleed my clutch about 2 times a year, once in the begining of the season no matter what and halfway i have to do it again. i am not sure if i have a leak. i have SS lines for the clutch and for my brakes. i bleed my brakes every 5000 miles just for my piece of mind. I just don't understand why and or how my fluid for my clutch like just goes away. is this normal? my 90 fzr has about 39k on it and the clutch was replaced when the motor was rebuild about 9 years ago. once i bleed the clutch i have normal feeling back to it. bad gasket for the housing maybe? or is it just normal?

Sounds to me like you might have a leaky slave cylinder. That's bolted to the engine and the fluid could be very well be getting burned off before you see it.

Here is a link to the place I get my OEM parts from. #23 on the page is the complete slave cylnider assembly and #25 is the seal kit for the slave cylinder on your bike.
Usually shipping isn't too bad; they use USPS and usually do the flat rate box deal for shipping.

ok so the kit is cheap i see that now the next question is how hard is it to do. for some reason i can build a car from the bottom up but i am scared to work on my own bikes
