Hey guys i joined this site to help out a buddy of mine. he needs the valves done on his bike which i see there is a simplified guide on here but i need one a little more in depth, like i need torque specs, his is the 5 valve system which i hear is a pain.

what im looking for i guess is torque specs,loosing pattern and tightening pattern


i know its frowned upon to make your first post a asking questions but it would be greatly appreciated if someone can point me in the right direction


I'm thinking ill get him to buy the book for it but he is not one to spend money
ive done a fair bit of looking online for a pdf just so i can help him with this but no luck thus far

The various marks of FZR and various other models all use the same set-up.

Here is a PDF of the manual. Not that much difference between a 90 and a 93 engines (i think it's just the oil cooler and the oil filter were updated). Shows all the torque specs as well. Same manual I use for my 94 EXUP 1000.
