fork diameters

hi anyone know the diameter of a 1991 fzr 1000 usd forks ? i have looked on the net but keep getting different answers from 41mm to 50mm thanks everyone for your time ....
The 50mm diameter is measured at the top part held in the fork clamps and from memory the lower chrome slider is 45mm
The r right way up forks 89-90 model are 43mm chrome slider
The Genesis pre Exup 85-88 are 41mm chrome slider
