Electrical wiring 1990 EXUP Thou, question

Hi Chaps,
Newbie to this group so Hello from Surrey, UK.
I have a RED/WHITE wire that I appear to have no connector for. I've connected the R/W's that form the coil and ignition loop via fuse box, reserve switch etc. However the question I have is, where the main loom splits off with the wires to the rear subframe for the rear lamps and indicators, there is also a single R/W wire about 6 inches long with a female bullet connector that I can't figure out where to place. Someone suggested it was for Service use or an auxiliary power supply and doesn't form part of the critical ignition circuit.

Could anyone advise?

Note: I don't have a subframe on my bike so I have no way of placing it logically it situ but it would be somewhere up around the battery or poss nearer to the ignition box.

Cheers all!

Hi All,
Had it comfirmed that the R/W wire I was referring to is in fact redundant. In addition there is also a short R/B that doesn't do anything.
For the record this is from a 1989/90 EXUP supplied to the UK, so may be slightly different to a US model or those supplied to other continents.
