FZRSupport: the FZROnline Archive

so i need a replacement tank for my 88 fzr 1000. i four a nice newer one on ebay. it doesnt say what year its for. so will a newer tank fit my bike?

1987 and 1988 are the same Modelline, but from 1989 on its another Framedesign,so i guess it will not be a plug&play or bolt-on adoption if you try to put this one on a 1988 Model...but if needed a modification might be possible
Perhaps you could ask the vendor from which model it was taken?
