FZR 1000 Genesis - Forks finish

The forks on my resto have had an attempt of polishing in their history and I would like to get them back to original finish. I believe the original finish was a kind of brushed aluminium look and lacquered. Is this correct? If so has anyone managed to get that look back or recommend a refurb service? Or is my best option powder coating?
Cheers

No.....it looks like only me...unfortunately for yourself.
I saw you post and hoped someone who had a Genesis would advise over the weekend.
Any how after searching for high res pics. most seem to indicate ;

that the legs are finished in silver/very light shade of grey.....paint.
This is as the next later model 1000R but which is a light sparkle grey /slightest hint of gold.
I have not seen the two models side by side to compare.
You have already coated your frame and swinger.....what about getting the legs polished and then lacquered for
contrast ... or just coat as the frame.
Edit...both links magnify via mouse.....and the more I look at the fork legs, the finish looks more as my 1000R.
