1994 front end swap out

Post by shadowspawn »

new guy here!!!
Just picked up a 1994 fzr 1000 with a twisted front end. Looks like there are not to many front ends available for this bike out there. Is there a direct swap for the front end on this bike???? Tried the search but no luck. Any help would be appreciated!!!!!
Thanks!!!!

there are modifications you can do to do a swap with a more up to date inverted fork try doing a search for a swap titled R1 fork swap or something like that. Some guys have also swapped in GSXR 750 and 1000 forks as well.

By the way good for you for joining the forum, look into the "modking" for some idea's for upgrades and changes in the board index near the bottom of the page.

Thanks man I'll check that out. I am looking to do the whole front end including the trees. I was hoping someone has already done it successfully with same size bearings and stem.

So I found a lower tree to replace my bent one; going to stick with the original front end set up instead of doing a swap.
If anyone has any parts that are compatible with a 94 1000 they are looking to get rid of I need a ton of misc. parts; to much to list. Odds are if you have it I need it.
