Hello, I recently picked up and 88 FZR1000 and the owner before me put on a full D&D exhaust and he told me he never re-jetted the carb's, driving it home when I opened it up it would bog starving for fuel, it starts right up idles perfect and anywhere under half throttle runs great.
My question is, I'm going to get rid of the airbox and put pods on it, what main jets should I move up to to get full throttle on the bike?
Thxs

Re: Jetting on 88 FZR1000
man that was a great question and i wish someone had answerd it because i also would live to know the answer tho that..mine has a vance and hines exhaust and pods..wondering if the 112 jets all the way across are big enough since they are a bit bigger that the 110 outer carbs 107.5 inner carbs stock (least thats what my searching has told me).

Are you sure it's jets.....could be fuel pump if your sure there aint enough fuel when demand is heavy.
