I have an 87 FZR1000. Has a Yosh. Slip-on and K&N Pod Filters on it with 135 Main Jets. However my Fuel/Air Mixture screws are adjusted to 3 7/8 in order for the bike to run properly! So, after researching, i have found that I need a richer main jet to compensate these screws back to 3 Full Turns(Which I think is factory). So my main question is, What size main jet should I put in the bike? & Would it involve me lowering the needle as well??
Suggestions/Thoughts and Ideas would be much appreciated!
Cheers!

Re: Main Jet Sizes?
If your idle mix screws are out too much, you need to go up a size on your pilots, not your mains.

Re: Main Jet Sizes?
Where are the pilot jets located ?
Re: Main Jet Sizes?
The pilot, main, and starter jets are clustered together in the middle of the carb under the bowl. The main and starter jets are the same style / type, just different jet sizes. The other jet by elimination is the pilot.
