hi can someone help please? I rode my fzr1000 to the end of the road it coughed then stalled I got it home now it won't rev at all it will tick over then I can gradually increase the revs to 4000rpm if I try to rev it quickly it stalls any ideas please?

sounds like blocked jets or stale fuel in the carbs...mine has a similar effect when its been stood over winter. i have to greadually raise the revs by blipping it til it clears, otherwise it'll be a strip and clean job.

Also try the fuel filter and check for a trapped breather that may be causing a vacuum in the tank and causing fuel starvation

Was well I have no idea I stripped it to paint it once painted rebuilt it started and still runs absolutely perfectly so wierd
