FZRSupport: the FZROnline Archive

I've got an 88 fzr 1000 that I'm having a few issues with. While I was riding one day it died on me and I couldn't get it to fire back up. I replaced the spark plugs and she came alive again but it isn't running right. It sounds like a four wheeler and from 0-5000rpm it seems to have less that half power but after 5000rpm it seems fine. I know I didn't get any wires mixed up when I changed the plug. While I had it apart I also replaced the air filter. I don't know a whole lot about bikes but was looking for any suggestions or ideas on what I could do to find out of fix my problem. Thanks!

What was the reason that it died the first time get n timing light and check all four plug wires maybe one of the coils is messing around ?

Not sure on the reason it died. But started up fine after I changed out the plugs
