carb diagnosis on '88 FZR1000

Guys,
I got my bike out for the summer and had trouble getting it started. However, it did finally start, pulled the choke, let it warm up and then proceeded to push the choke back down and the bike dies. So I pull the choke and get it started and ride it around. Turns out that the throttle up to 1/4 is messed up, it sputters. If I close the choke, it will die if I let it below 2500rpms. Whats weird is the bike feels fine on the top end, its just the low end stuff that is messed up. When I was out riding I had to pull the choke about 1/2 way to get the thing to idle when I came to a stop sign.
I figured I left gas in the carbs when I set it up last winter. I was planning to replace the parts inside the carbs, and clean it, but there really doesn't seem to be a carb kit like there is for dirt bikes.
Anyways, since I need to buy parts, and I'm new to the FZR1000 I was wondering if anybody has an idea which parts I should order for when I rebuild the carbs.
thanks
