The 90 model should have an in-tank pump with external relay, it should prime when first turning the ignition (light buzz), if in neutral with side stand up!

If your not getting headlight,horn and poor starting I would go to:-

Main ignition plug from key-barrell to loom under tank!! very problematic on these (go high resistance), the other is the main alternator plug in the loom LH side panel under seat (overheat with high resistance and melt plug!!!

Also these model bikes only like 12V and above, having any high resistance in the circuit will rob you of volts and cause all manner of issues!

With a voltmeter attached to the battery watch the voltage as you try to start! does it drop in voltage? Check every connection and I mean every connection! if looks iffy give it a clean and re-connect.

The new relay did not do the trick...

testing fuel pump again now.

definitely the fuel pump itself...i can't do anything to get her to crank

looking for a 98 Zx6r one....or a FZR 1000 one currently

Running smoothly.

Needed: New Battery, New Plugs, New Fuel Pump, checking each and every single wire on the bike
