Mines the sheet from couple months ago.Still had exup system and airbox but we are not sure what else has been done to the engine prior to me owning as there had been three other fzr1002 bikes on their dyno with the highest running 128rwhp.Its a lineer dyno also but you cant tell much comparing apples with pears dyno wise.I could run my bike on your dyno and lose 10hp.I had my zx12r on the same dyno few years back and got 164.8hp on it.
The honda blackbird with sports cans got 138 just before mine went on so i think mines running quite high horses.
Im hoping now with yoshi headers and the 520 vortex kit to hit 145+ but wont know until middle next week.
Booked Tuesday but may need a day of jetting.

Expecting to lose bottom end and gain top.

Dyno runs are finished and im up to 142rwhp and the hole at 8000 is gone.The torque is up and horses are fatter the whole way through.
Slight dip at 9000rpm so might trial some different tapper needles.
Pick up bike tomorrow so will post the dyno sheet asap.
Now running no airbox at all just the stacks.
Not sure if i will go twin pods.Will get some more advice tomorrow when collecting bike.

The FZRs been on the dyno today & we have found the power it had lost.
First run 96.1hp that was with standard jets & modded air snorkle. So in effect the mod cost 30hp!
Went from 122.5s to 140 mains.
Lifted the needles full up, & now its putting out 126.9hp from 124.7. So a gain. [all be it small]
Its still way to lean from about 4000 to 10000rpm. but then keeps making power untill rev limit, & thats were the extra hp is. It use to drop off at about 10500rpm, but doesnt do that anymore. So if we can get some more fuel in there it should be good.
So its a good & bad story, really.
We are looking at about 135+ when we get the right needle jets in there & we are looking at maybe having to change the needles.
So was it worth the trouble? I'd say NO
But having more power right through the rev range isnt a bad thing either, I suppose.

114nm torque at 10200.Im not sure what that is in foot pounds.
Some progress is still good progress.Mine has got 1000 extra rpm at the end .It holds 142 from 10000 until 11200 droping gradually until 12800 at 130hp.
Im picking its gotta have hot cams to see these rpm figures.My mains were 140 then the shop ran out of options so drilled them out to approx 150 before i could get enough fuel.We over did it a bit so dumped the airbox just running vstacks and it came good at 11.5 to 12.2 mixture through the range of revs.
Have saved 9kg and have 4 more n-meters torque through the entire rev range.

Ok after a truck load of fu#king around & about 20 dyno runs, we ended up with larger needle jets, 140 mains, & the needle in the middle setting. Result 131.2 RWHP from 124 & an extra 2 ftlbs of torque right accross the rev range.
We had to keep closing the snorkel down to find power. Ill see if I can post a pic of what we ended up with. All I can say is, unless you have plenty of money for dyno time, dont do any mods to the airbox or snorkle. It is not a cost effetive way of gaining power. You will get power, but it comes at a cost of a lot of dyno time.
