Newbie needs help please

Hi guys/girls,

I have an 87 genesis, have a problem with oil light.

It comes on and goes out randomly, the bike has just had a full service so oil is all good, no leaks nothing.

Is the sensor a common fault? can they get dirty?

Depends on your driving style... It's an oil level sensor, not a pressure sensor.

could be the sensor. Also, oil has to be at the top of the window so they're slightly sensitive when it drops a bit
