carb wows - rough idle

Post by anotherfzrowner »

Right,
i have a uk spec 1989 exup that has just been rebuilt. I had the carbs ultrasonic cleaned + new stage 3 dynojet kit, new inlet rubbers.....all the carbs seals seemed in good order. She fires up but really well but does not like picking up from 1k - 3k & just hangs on to tick over.
I have also new plugs etc
I have read about worn emulsion tubes? would this cause these issues? has anyone had similar and what was the fix? I'm sure i will suss it eventually but its all time...any advice or experience would be truely helpful

thanks in advance

If you find you're needing some, i'm just about to do another group buy if you want in
If its not broken it dont need fixing

It'll be that and/or the exup valve.

Has there been a dynamic synch done yet? You don't mention that which is why I ask. Could be a tad rich and explain the rough start. Does the bike have the standard exhaust or aftermarket? If standard check that your exup valve is not stuck open (to elaborate on the last post).

The bike has a Remas end can, the carbs are fully sync'd.
My mate is going to take his standard set off his bike and i'm going to swap the parts over bit by bit to emilinate the problem. I still think its the tubes, if that the case i will buying into the bulk order....how much are we talking per tube....thankyou for the repy's....very much appreciated
