Hi all, I hope someone can help.
My starter has a "zinging" type of noise each time I start the bike almost like it's overrunning. I took the starter to an auto electrician who tested it and said everything is fine. I tested it myself outside the bike and it makes no noise and works fine. I checked the teeth inside the engine to see if they were worn but all is fine there too. I put the starter back and it makes the same noise again. It works perfectly fine but the noise indicates something is wrong. Is there anything else I need to check, the relay perhaps?
Thanks in advance!!

Sounds like the starter clutch.
